Description of the tool

The tool was developed during the •• --- - project. It joins the elements of history with modern technologies by presenting the Morse's alphabet to young people. An easy-to-use tool of block programming that includes the Internet of Things modules is used in the workshop. Thanks to the TUNIOT tool the young people will be able to program a lamp that can be switched on/off with a mobile app or social media by they own. In this way they can send messages coded with the Morse's alphabet. This is a simple method to show the opportunities that the Internet of Things brings. The project promotes the Internet of Things idea which could be widely used in the near future.

Programming is an often desired skill on the job market. Popularity of modern technologies allows us to assume that the trend will stable. The •• --- - project aims to influence school students by arousing curiosity and sense of creativity. Also, we want to show that programming is not difficult, in particularly in the context of low percentage of young women choosing career connected with programming or modern technologies.
