Aims of the tool

- To share best practices and tools for nature-based youth work.
- To foster processes of well-being, growing respect for nature and (re)introducing the regenerative power of nature.
- To rebuild strong connections of human beings being part of nature based on trust, understanding and willingness to give back.
- To inspire, encourage and raise the quality and amount of nature based practises in youth work.
- To spread the concept of Human Rewilding within European youth work.

In this toolbox we collect all kind of tools, methods, resources and other interesting input related to the topic of Human Rewilding for nature-based youth work. Human Rewilding means to us: experiencing and spending time in nature while developing a deeper connection with nature and oneself, supporting regeneration, creating learning opportunities and exploring nature's potential.

Concretely, in our toolbox you can find: our collectively created zine (see attached), method descriptions, information about wild plants and recipes, input about project development methods from Dragon Dreaming, and further readings.

This toolbox was created within the project "Human Rewilding Communities", a networking and community building event for youth workers that took place between 11-19 October 2024 on Zywa Ziemia Permaculture Farm in Poland.
