Energiser, Ice-breaker, Group Building Activity
Providing a little challenge to the group and stimulate cooperation – and it is a nice thing to get to know the limits of your body.
* People stand in a circle shoulder to shoulder and close their eyes. They take one step forward and take with every hand one hand of another person (but not the neighbour’s). They open their eyes and try to entangle what is called a Gordian Knot.
Comments: sometimes it is impossible to untangle the whole knot or two circles appear. Up to the tact of the trainer to end the exercise when it is dragging on too long or to secretly change some hands of participants to make a solution possible.

Comments
Be aware that not always participants have both arms or they cannot move the arms properly, but they still want to participate. If you really want to include such persons, you will find the way to do it. (SALTO TC Inclusion Through Sports 2004).
