Global Goals at Stake (board game)
Global Goals at Stake is a board game that combines the classic board with a mobile app that generates Questions, Actions and Dilemmas related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Aims of the tool
1.To reflect of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
2. To reflect upon the impact of decisions on a policy and individual level regarding the 17 SDGs.
3. To fosters reflective understanding of global challenge.
Description of the tool
"Global Goals at Stake" is a board game that offer learning through a game play around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that contains 608 questions, 99 actions and 43 dilemmas. The game encourages players to debate and fosters own reflective understanding of global challenges, and it is supports the players ability to analytically reflect upon impacts of decisions on a policy and individual level. The game is accompanied by an educational guide containing 53 pages with activities for further reflections, debriefing methods and best practices.

The board game was developed by the Danish United Nations Association in partnership with other eight organisations from Denmark, France, Romania, UK, Germany, Turkey, Spain and Hungary.
The production of the game was co-financed by the programme Erasmus+ and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Materials needed:
Print the board. It can be downloaded from the app.
Find replacements for the pawns, goal markers. Use a regular dice if you do not have a dice with a globe. The side with the six dots will replace the globe.
