Giraffe journey is a board game for children 8-12 years old based on the approach of nonviolent communication. It fosters teamwork and cooperation.
The aim of the tool is to familiarise children with the concept of feelings and needs and the importance of recognising, naming and expresing them in life.
The game fosters teamwork and cooperating in the group.
"Giraffe journey" is a cooperative card game, where players aged 8-12 learn about feelings and needs as understood in the approach of nonviolent communication* The game encourages teamwork and understanding as players navigate their way from the jackal to the giraffe.
The resources attached contains of 2 levels of board game "Giraffe journey lite" and "Giraffe journey advanced". You can choose the level suitable for your group or depending on what would you like to focus.
Specific instructions for playing the game on both levels are give in the attached PDF file.
What is exceptional in this game: there are no individual winnrs or loosers, the whole group wins or looses.
