The GIG UP Online Library is one of the results of the GIG UP project, which aims to integrate young people into the workforce and utilize the gig economy as an opportunity to enhance job search skills.
- Increase participants' employability skills: The GIG UP Online Library aims to enhance the employability skills of participants, including digital literacy, entrepreneurship, communication, and critical thinking.
- Provide basic knowledge on financial literacy: The library seeks to equip participants with fundamental knowledge on financial literacy to manage unstable incomes from various sources effectively.
- Help participants understand their workers' rights: The goal is to educate participants about their rights as employees and citizens, empowering them to perform better in work settings.
The GIG UP Online Library is a comprehensive resource designed to empower young people with the skills necessary for success in today's dynamic job market. It includes a variety of materials such as micro-lessons, games, reading materials, exercises, presentations, and infographics. These materials are tailored to strengthen participants' employability skills, enhance financial literacy, and improve their performance in work environments. Additionally, the library offers certification options, allowing participants to showcase their skills to potential employers. The materials are flexible and can be adapted to meet individual learning needs.
