The main objectives of our project GAMI.FI.RE. are to foster financial literacy and career readiness among VET students and to contribute to the adaptation of VET to the needs of the labor market.
To develop an innovative gamified e-learning platform “GamiFIRE”, that will provide VET students with interactive and engaging financial literacy training, and career readiness guidance based on digital content and pedagogical practices that are tailored to the needs of VET students and will address the issue of skills mismatch by aligning the content with the needs of the labor market.
To develop a training program for VET PROVIDERS that will help them to integrate financial literacy and career readiness into their teaching practices. This will include the development of the toolkit and implementation of training to develop their digital readiness, resilience, and capacity for integrating GAMI.FI.RE into their organization and work. Using Open badges and digital credentials as validation tools which will be aligned with formal education will help teachers and trainers to monitor the progress of their students.
To enable inclusion of marginalized young people, such as students from families that are recipients of social support, migrants, low educated… we will develop tailored approaches that are adapted to the needs and circumstances of these students, and we will work closely with associated partners, local and regional authorities, and employers to ensure that these approaches are implemented effectively.
To activate VET students/providers to take responsibility for sustainable future as GAMI.FI.RE ambassadors: By active cooperation of VET students in the project activities we will empower them to be able to be role models for other students and even wider, as well as VET providers to motivate other professionals working in similar fields of education and for transfer of gained knowledge.
To reach a wider impact, so that also other target groups will use our project results: By activating a diverse net of stakeholders on local, regional, NA, and EU level, implement targeted GAMI.FIR.RE campaign, including workshops and multipliers events to showcase the results of our project, will help to raise awareness of the importance of financial literacy and career readiness in VET, as well as in everyday life.
