A practical method collection for international youth projects focusing on group building, learning and reflection, intercultural understanding and teamwork. Developed within the Erasmus+ KA2 project “From Okay to Slay”.

Aims of the tool

- Improve the quality of international youth projects
- Strengthen the competences of youth workers and youth leaders
- Promote inclusion, diversity and intercultural learning
- Provide tested, easy-to-use methods for youth work practice

Description of the tool

The “From Okay to Slay” Method Collection is a practice-oriented toolkit designed for professionals working in international youth projects. It supports youth workers in shaping group processes, facilitating meaningful learning and reflection, strengthening intercultural and linguistic understanding and fostering cooperation and teamwork.

The collection is structured into four thematic areas:
- Getting to know each other & group formation
- Learning & reflection
- Linguistic & intercultural understanding
- Teamwork & cooperation

Each tool is clearly structured and includes information on target group, group size, duration, required materials and step-by-step instructions. All methods were tested, reflected on and further developed during an international seminar with youth work professionals from across Europe.

Learning outcomes:
Youth workers enhance their methodological skills and are better equipped to design inclusive, participatory and high-quality international youth projects that respond to diverse needs of young people.
