Manual
Practical, youth-worker-friendly toolkit packed with non-formal, culturally sensitive activities and peer-learning ideas for teaching financial literacy to young migrant & refugee women and boosting their economic inclusion.
Equip youth workers with step-by-step games, role-plays and workshops that make money matters engaging.
Embed cultural sensitivity and language accessibility in every activity.
Strengthen participants’ financial confidence, entrepreneurial mindset and mentoring networks.
Foster community & peer learning to build long-term financial resilience.
Structured in four action-oriented chapters, the toolkit starts with engaging non-formal methods—games, role-plays and discussion groups—for teaching core topics such as budgeting, credit and investing (Chapter 1).
Chapter 2 shows youth workers how to weave cultural awareness, language support and inclusive practices into financial education, with ready-to-run workshops like “Cultural Finance Mapping” and “Digital Finance Tools through Cultural Lenses”.
Chapter 3 offers strategies and 10 plug-and-play activities—from mock business pitches to savings-goal visualisation—to build financial confidence and entrepreneurial skills in young migrant women.
Chapter 4 scales impact through community projects, investment clubs and tech-enhanced peer groups, emphasising cooperation and sustainability.
Throughout, check-lists, facilitation tips and adaptable templates help practitioners tailor sessions to diverse groups while preserving the FEW project’s empowerment ethos.
