Aims of the tool

This toolkit is designed to serve as a comprehensive resource for trainers, leaders, teachers, and coaches, helping them achieve their objectives and goals within the given time frame and resources. It provides a collection of tools and strategies that can be effectively utilized to foster a deeper understanding of environmental activism and sustainability. These resources aim to empower not only young people but also individuals across all age groups, emphasizing the importance of protecting our environment in its broadest sense.

Description of the tool

Objectives:
1. Raise Awareness: Increase awareness among young people about the importance of the European Green Deal and the role of sustainable practices in addressing the climate crisis.
2. Empower Youth: Provide young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to advocate for sustainable practices in their communities.
3. Enhance Skills: Develop the communication and leadership skills of participating youth through hands-on experience in creating and managing communication campaigns.
4. Foster Collaboration: Promote collaboration and exchange among young people and organizations across the participating countries, building a network of Eco-Informed Ambassadors who are committed to sustainability.

Expected Outcomes:
The Importance of Sustainability and Environmental Activism
Increased Awareness: A significant increase in knowledge about sustainable practices and the European Green Deal among youth and their communities.
Youth-Led Campaigns: Successful implementation of nine youth-led communication campaigns, including six online and three onsite, that promote sustainability.
Content Creation: Production of 18 youth-designed Instagram reels or short videos to disseminate key messages about sustainability.
Ambassador Team: Formation of an Eco-Informed Ambassadors Team, consisting of 21 young people who will lead and sustain the project's initiatives.

The Eco-Informed project is more than just a set of activities; it is a movement towards a more sustainable future, driven by the energy, creativity, and commitment of Europe's youth. Through this project, young people will not only learn about sustainability but will also become active agents of change in their communities.
Environmental activism encompasses a wide array of actions and initiatives undertaken by individuals, groups, or organizations to advocate for the protection of the environment and address critical ecological issues. This form of activism is vital in the face of global challenges such as climate change, habitat destruction, and pollution.
