A ready-to-use environmental education toolkit with six non-formal learning activities that reconnect people with nature, strengthen ecological knowledge, explore climate challenges, and are easily adaptable to diverse audiences and contexts.
The tool inspires and supports educators in creating meaningful outdoor learning moments that reconnect people with nature, encourage reflection and learning, and inspire action.
This tool is built from real practice and shared experience among youth workers and environmental educators. It offers a collection of outdoor non-formal learning activities that speak to both the mind and the heart, engaging participants through empathy, creativity, play, and all five senses.
The activities are designed to be interactive, adaptable to different audiences and places, and easy to facilitate. Each activity is presented step by step, including a material list, context information and practical tips for implementation.
