Description of the tool

The concept of Digital Competences and Skills are very important within European educational policies. For this reason, the EU commission science and knowledge service realized the “European Digital Competence Framework 2.1”, also known as DigComp 2.1 (https://bit.ly/3cVpCt7), which is a tool to improve citizen's digital competence. Today, being digitally competent in EU means that people need to have competences in all areas of DigComp 2.1. Also guiding DPCT project are the 5 areas of DigComp 2.1, namely, information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, safety and problem solving. These five areas of digital skills are broken down into 21 digital competences.
