A total of 48 Human Books were developed. Human books are individuals who volunteered to share their life stories in order to challenge prejudice, dismantle stereotypes, and foster mutual understanding.

Aims of the tool

The aim of this tool is to act as an inspiring example for organizations or individuals wishing to create "human books" and implement human libraries events to break stereotypes and foster inclusive societies.

Description of the tool

Youth migrants were empowered to become agents of change. They were empowered to use their personal narratives to break stereotypes and foster inclusive societies.

Many came from migrant or minority backgrounds and shared stories that reflected personal experiences of exclusion, resilience, identity, and integration.
