Beyond Likes is an Erasmus+ project designed to strengthen digital literacy in youth work. It provides a practical Media Kit including a guide, webinars and capsules to support youth workers in the strategic and responsible use of social media and AI.
To analyse how youth organisations currently use social media and AI.
To improve digital literacy and digital skills among youth workers.
To promote responsible, conscious and strategic use of social media.
To support the integration of Artificial Intelligence in youth work processes.
To strengthen transnational cooperation and exchange of good practices
Beyond Likes is a KA210 Small-Scale Partnership in Youth co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (Ref. 2023-3-ES02-KA210-YOU-000178244), implemented by Asociación Miras (Spain), Associação para a Igualdade AEQUALITAS (Portugal) and Dragons Nest AMKE (Greece).
The project was created in response to a clear need identified through research: many youth organisations lack structured strategies for social media management, digital tools and Artificial Intelligence integration in their daily work.
Beyond Likes aims to go “beyond likes” and move from visibility to meaningful impact. It supports youth workers and organisations in:
• Understanding the current relationship between youth work and social media
• Using social media strategically and ethically
• Integrating AI tools responsibly into project management and communication
• Improving digital efficiency and saving time for what really matters: working with young people
The project includes:
• International research with youth workers
• A transnational workshop
• A capacity building training course
• A comprehensive Media Kit (guide + webinars + short video capsules)
• Mentoring and follow-up activities
• Local and international dissemination events
All materials are freely accessible and downloadable in multiple languages.
The Media Kit can be used by:
• Youth organisations developing a digital strategy
• Professionals designing workshops on digital literacy
• Trainers working on media literacy and AI
• Organisations seeking to improve their online communication
• Teams wanting to integrate AI tools in project management
All materials are free and adaptable to different national contexts.
