Aims of the tool

The aim of the tool is to raise awareness and prevent violence in interpersonal relationships by promoting emotional literacy, consent, non-violent communication, self-care, and healthy relationship dynamics among young people through experiential learning.

Description of the tool

The Better Together booklet is a non-formal education tool developed during a youth exchange focused on preventing violence in interpersonal relationships. It combines creative, reflective, and experiential learning methods—such as embodiment exercises, storytelling, art-based activities, and peer dialogue—to help young people explore key topics like emotional intelligence, consent, boundary setting, self-care, and healthy relationship dynamics.

The tool offers structured activities like the "Cup of Tea" exercise to reflect on personal needs and boundaries, body-based activities to sense and express emotions, and group moments like the "Tunnel of Love" to foster mutual support and trust. It also includes poetic manifestos, personal testimonies, and tips for emotional regulation through music and voice work.
