Inclusive apprenticeship model for deaf youth in Europe, promoting sign language accessibility and equal opportunities in VET and the labour market through a quality standard for distance apprenticeships.
The aim of the tool is to promote greater inclusion of deaf people in the labour market by developing a quality standard for distance apprenticeships, ensuring accessibility, equity, and recognition of sign language in vocational education and training.
The QSA4Disability project is a European initiative designed to support deaf youth entering the labour market by creating a quality standard for distance apprenticeships. The tool focuses on fostering inclusive environments within Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems and business contexts by integrating national sign language and ensuring accessibility throughout the apprenticeship process. By addressing systemic barriers and promoting equal opportunities, the project supports a shift toward a more inclusive and equitable labour market.
