Bridge4Mothers Response Analysis Report presents findings from surveys and focus groups with vulnerable mothers and VET professionals in Germany, Greece, Bulgaria and Türkiye, identifying barriers, learning needs and pathways for inclusion

Aims of the tool

To understand the educational, employability and social inclusion challenges faced by vulnerable mothers.
To identify barriers preventing participation in VET and lifelong learning opportunities.
To explore mothers' digital skills needs, learning preferences and support requirements.
To gather insights from VET trainers and professionals working with mothers.
To inform the development of the Bridge4Mothers Competence Roadmap and Learning Objectives.
To support the creation of a Digital Upskilling Curriculum and Personal, Social and Learning (PSL) resources.
To promote flexible, accessible and learner-centred training pathways for mothers across Europe.
To contribute to improved employability, digital competence and social inclusion for vulnerable mothers.

Description of the tool

The Bridge4Mothers Response Analysis Report presents the results of surveys and focus group discussions conducted with vulnerable mothers and VET professionals across Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, and Türkiye. The report identifies key barriers to learning and employment, including childcare responsibilities, time constraints, financial pressures, and limited access to flexible training opportunities.

Learning Outcomes:
• Understand the main challenges faced by vulnerable mothers in accessing education and employment.
• Recognise the importance of flexible, inclusive, and learner-centred VET approaches.
• Identify common digital, employability, and personal development needs among mothers.
• Explore effective support mechanisms, including mentoring, peer learning, and flexible learning pathways.
• Gain insights that can inform the design of inclusive training programmes and upskilling initiatives.
