Career Counseling Program is an innovative, ready-to-use toolkit created to guide youth step by step in exploring their professional interests, skills, and ambitions.
It was developed under the Erasmus Cooperation Partnership project "Path to Success"

Aims of the tool

The Career Counseling Program aims to support young people in successfully navigating their transition to education, employment, and career development. It provides youth workers, trainers, and facilitators with practical tools and methodologies to deliver effective career guidance, helping young people better understand their skills, explore career opportunities, make informed decisions, and develop the confidence and adaptability needed to succeed in a rapidly changing labour market.

Description of the tool

The Career Counselling Program is a comprehensive educational resource developed within the Path to Success project to support young people in making informed decisions about their educational and professional futures. Designed for youth workers, trainers, educators, and facilitators, the program provides a structured methodology and a collection of interactive activities that address key aspects of career development, including labour market awareness, self-discovery, career exploration, soft skills development, personal branding, interview preparation, socio-emotional learning, goal setting, and career planning.
The program adopts a holistic approach to career guidance, combining labour market information with non-formal education methods and experiential learning activities. It is specifically designed for young people aged 14–24, including those with fewer opportunities, and supports youth workers in delivering engaging, participant-centred career guidance activities. Developed through international cooperation and informed by good practices from across Europe, the program responds to current labour market challenges and the growing need for adaptable career guidance services.
