The policy proposal from the Earth and You(th) KA152 project is promoting youth-led climate action, sustainable lifestyles, and inclusive decision-making to empower communities and reduce environmental impact locally and globally.
To present youth-driven policy recommendations addressing key environmental and social challenges.
To promote a sustainable, inclusive and socially just transition across sectors such as energy, agriculture, finance, mobility or education.
To empower young people as active contributors to climate action and policymaking processes.
To encourage decision-makers to adopt coordinated, youth-informed sustainability policies.
This policy proposal was developed by 32 young participants of the Earth and You(th) Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project. It outlines a set of recommendations across six key areas: climate action, sustainable agriculture, green finance, mobility, education as well as social equity.
The document reflects the collective voice of young people from 6 countries, addressing urgent environmental challenges and proposing practical, scalable solutions. It aims to support policymakers, stakeholders as well as communities in advancing a sustainable and socially just future through youth engagement and cross-sector collaboration.
