The Toolkit equips youth workers and organisation representatives with structured content, methodologies, and practical exercises to build digital literacy and integrate AI and automation tools into their daily practice.

Aims of the tool

The Youth Work 4.0: Digital Mastery Training Toolkit aims to equip youth workers and organisation representatives with practical digital skills to integrate AI, automation, and video production tools into their everyday professional practice — enhancing operational efficiency, reducing administrative workload, and improving the quality of services delivered to young people.

Description of the tool

The Toolkit is a modular, multilingual training resource structured across 4 modules — an introductory module on webinar organisation, followed by three subject modules covering AI & Prompt Engineering, Automation, and Video Production. Each module follows a consistent four-block format: Introduction, Theoretical input, Hands-on Practice, and Reflection & Evaluation.

Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation and implement basic automation workflows to streamline their work
Produce engaging digital video content using AI-assisted tools relevant to youth work communication
Critically evaluate AI outputs and apply ethical considerations in the use of digital technologies
Confidently integrate newly acquired digital tools into their organisation's daily operations
