This Toolkit is for youth workers who want to learn how to facilitate the Peace Please game, a cooperative game that helps group develop a Culture of Peace.

Aims of the tool

Learning how to facilitate the Peace Please game with youth groups.
The goal during the game is to overcome Challenges described on the cards collectively as a team, by choosing two action cards together. Generally, the Challenges are overcome when the two chosen Action cards have an equal or higher number on the back than the number on the Challenge cards. When you overcome three Challenges you won, and when you accumulate three you loose.

Description of the tool

This Toolkit is for youth workers who want to learn how to facilitate the Peace Please game, a cooperative game that helps group develop a Culture of Peace.
The eight areas of a Culture of Peace as defined by the UN were adapted for the purpose of the game.
The game was then further adapted for youth work, adding new Challenge cards, panic cards, clarifying rules and adding facilitation guidelines.
