This is our Booklet created during the Youth Exchange "Oops!... I Wasted It Again!". It aims to inspire others in implementing mobility projects focused on food waste reduction, sustainability, while fostering creativity and cross-cultural collaboration.

Aims of the tool

This booklet captures the essence of the "Oops!... I Wasted It Again!" project, presenting its journey through stories, videos, creative outputs like podcasts and short films, hands-on workshops, and interactive activities. It provides practical insights into food waste awareness, sustainable practices, and the intersection between daily habits and global challenges, especially within the framework of SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. The booklet also serves as a resource for educators, youth workers, and organizations, offering a source of inspiration to engage young people in sustainability-focused projects.

Description of the tool

The "Oops!... I Wasted It Again!" booklet is a comprehensive collection of the experiences, learnings, and creative expressions developed during this Erasmus+ Youth Exchange. It features stories, photography, artistic creations, podcasts, and short films co-created by participants from Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, and North Macedonia. Through non-formal education methods, interactive discussions, and collaborative challenges, the project encouraged young people to explore food waste from multiple perspectives, environmental, economic, and social.

This booklet not only documents the workshops and activities but also provides practical knowledge, innovative solutions, and inspiring takeaways to help others raise awareness, implement sustainable food practices, and engage communities in reducing waste. Contributions from partner organizations and participants enrich this resource, making it a valuable tool for individuals, youth organizations, and educators looking to develop similar sustainability-driven initiatives.
