Call For Partners: NEET KA2 Strategic Partnership for Youth - Exchange of Good Practices

IKAROS Foundation in Bucharest, Romania is looking for partners for a Strategic Partnership in the field of Youth - Exchange of Good Practices, within the frame of Erasmus+ Programme.
We would like to bring together different stakeholders, career counsellors, teachers, and trainers (formal, non-normal, social & business sector) to develop long-term partnerships and projects involving and targeting youth in NEET situation or at risk of becoming NEET.

Who we are?
Ikaros Foundation is concentrating its efforts on three main directions: developing instruments and programs dedicated to children (also for those coming for social protection system) and youths at risk of school dropout and further imposibility for labour market integration; developing programs dedicated to people with disabilities which will focus also on changing public policies; developing integrated employment services for unemployed adults especially form rural area. Ikaros Foundation is benefiting by the support of Ikaros Impresa Sociale from Italy, a pioneer in the field of working with youths.

Aim of the project
The aim of the project is to capitalize experiences gained in different contexts and build a new strategic partnership in order to improve the delivery capacity of services for young people in situations of social disadvantage, with focus on young people coming from the social protection system who are at risk of becoming NEETs, or who are already not engaged in any form of education, employment or training.

Target Group:
- age: 16-26 years old
- Young people who are at risk of dropping out of their studies
- Young people coming from Social Protection System
- Young people who are neither in education, employment or training

IKAROS is looking for experienced partners from European countries that are willing to enter in this interesting and ambitious project.
The project will be developed in collaboration with European youth organizations, educational institutions, guidance counselling centers, VET centers, NGOs working with and in favour of youths, also with youths coming from the social protection system (institutionalized), public bodies dealing with youth policies.
We are looking for partners from European countries that possess the capacity to involve this project in education institutions. Each organization (youth association, guidance counselling centers, VET center, etc.) will collaborate with a high school or nearby educational institute.
Every partner organization will need to have a PIC code and send us a stamped, signed mandate.

Partner requirements:
1. A rich experience in working with youths and/or NEETs. Organizations working in favor of young people coming from the social protection system are our priority.
2. Posession of best practices in the field of youth unemployment or school/work drop out prevention and/or intervention.
3. Efficient Methods, tools and practice to share with the project consortium.

Organizations that fullfil at least one of the three criteria and that consider an exchange of good practices and capacity building for the entire project consortium and associated partners / professional would be for the benefit of young people aged 16-26 from European level, are welcomed in our team.
