With the theme of winter preparation, we want to teach young people about natural eating habits of different cultures, permaculture practices and digital health
Our project offers a comprehensive training program that aims to raise awareness and develop skills in young people about preparing for the winter months. Under the theme of "Preparing for Winter", we aim to provide our young people with the nature-compatible eating habits of different cultures, the basic principles and practices of permaculture, and digital health literacy.
Natural Eating Habits:
Young people will discover traditional eating methods applied in different geographies during the winter months through workshops and interactive sessions. The importance of local and seasonal products, the use of high-nutrient winter vegetables and fruits, fermented foods and healthy winter drinks will be discussed in detail. In addition, awareness will be raised on reducing food waste and adopting sustainable eating habits.
Permaculture Practices:
The basic principles of permaculture will provide young people with a comprehensive understanding of living in harmony with nature and sustainable agricultural practices. Theoretical and practical training will be provided on topics such as soil health, composting, seed collection, and winter gardening. With workshops and practical training, young people will develop their skills in designing and implementing their own permaculture gardens. In this way, they will both gain knowledge about producing their own food in the winter months and grow up as individuals who are more sensitive to nature.
Digital Health Literacy:
Increasing the knowledge and skills of young people about digital health technologies and applications is an important component of our project. Topics such as access to reliable health information sources, use of online health platforms, security and privacy of health data, and wearable health technologies will be discussed. Young people will learn to better manage their own health by using digital health tools effectively and securely. In addition, ethical and social dimensions in the field of digital health will be discussed.
Our project aims to create a positive impact on both individual and societal levels by ensuring that young people become more conscious, skilled and equipped individuals in terms of preparing for winter. This comprehensive program will help young people adopt a sustainable lifestyle and contribute to a healthy future.
