Social Integration of Refugees

Study visit with some training elements for EU organisations to learn from UK best practice

Study visit with some training elements for EU organisations to learn from UK best practice and ideas for project development on a local level to support integration of refugees into local community.

We gained a lot of experience and expertise in the field of integration and resettlement of refugees, and would like to share this with EU organisations working in the countries that faced recent unprecedented influx of refugees and migrants.

During the study visit, the participants will visit local organisations such as British Red Cross; Devon and Cornwall Refugee Support; Students and Refugees Together (START), which offers practical and emotional support; the Asylum Seekers and Refugees Mental Health Team; and Plymouth Hope, a charity promoting social inclusion through recreational activities, including football. The Plymouth & Devon Race Equality Council promotes equality of opportunity across the county. Amber Initiatives supports refugees and migrants families in their education needs and supports local schools when they have newly arrival refugees and migrants.
Theoretical session will focus on discrimination and promotion of diversity.

If you would like to be a partner, fill PIF form attached. We will not consider any other forms.
