The Partner-Finding Tool
Not Just Numbers is a project aimed at strengthening co-operation and developing capacity of youth organisations in dealing with migration and asylum issues.
Not Just Numbers: Migration and Asylum Issues in Youth Work
The project aims to improve the quality of local activities in the fields of migration and asylum awareness conducted by consortium members in their countries. Specific objectives of the project are: to facilitate exchange of expertise on approaches to migration and asylum education in youth work, to train youth workers in using education tools developed by UNHCR and the Red Cross (‘Not Just Numbers’ and ‘Positive Images’), to promote international co-operation and networking between youth organisations.
The project’s main activity is an eight-day training programme (training of trainers) for 29 participants from eight programme countries. The training will be held in Poland in winter 2016/2017.
The project’s direct impact will be the increased capacity of partner organisations in addressing migration and asylum issues in youth work, increased skills of youth workers, raising awareness of migration and asylum rights and increased co-operation of youth organisations.
The project’s outputs, leading to a long-term impact, will be disseminated at two levels: locally by consortium members and Europe-wide by the project communications team. Dissemination measures will include local events involving young people, youth workers and other relevant stakeholders, in co-operation with local traditional media, as well as online dissemination tools including social media and websites.
If you want to cooperate with us, please send partner identification form and mandate (with original signature and stamp) to ikm.wroclaw@gmail.com, till Aprill 22nd.
