EFD UNESCO is building a consortium on digital inclusion, youth empowerment and green communities, with partners ready to co-design an innovative project.
EFD UNESCO, a grassroots youth and community organisation based in Morocco, is looking to build a committed transnational consortium for an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership starting in 2027.
PROJECT IDEA
GREEN & DIGITAL YOUTH COMMUNITIES aims to empower young people, particularly those living in communities with fewer opportunities, to become active citizens and local change-makers through digital skills, environmental awareness, non-formal education and community-based initiatives.
The project will explore how digital inclusion and the green transition can be connected with youth participation and community development.
We are interested in developing practical and transferable tools that youth organisations can use in their local communities, rather than organising activities that end with the project itself.
POSSIBLE PROJECT COMPONENTS
• Digital literacy and responsible use of digital tools
• Youth participation and active citizenship
• Environmental awareness and green community initiatives
• Non-formal education methodologies
• Inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities
• Youth-led local initiatives
• Intercultural learning and European cooperation
• Development of practical training resources and toolkits
• Pilot activities in partner countries
• Dissemination and transfer of results to other youth organisations
EXPECTED RESULTS
The consortium could develop a practical training programme and toolkit for youth workers and young people, digital learning resources, local pilot actions, good-practice materials and recommendations for organisations working with young people.
The final concept will be developed jointly with the selected partners according to their expertise and local needs.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are particularly interested in organisations from Erasmus+ Programme Countries with complementary expertise in:
• Digital education / digital inclusion
• Environmental education and sustainability
• Youth participation and active citizenship
• Social inclusion and young people with fewer opportunities
• Non-formal education and youth work
• Community development
• Innovation and entrepreneurship
• Research, evaluation or educational methodology
We are especially interested in organisations that are willing to actively contribute to project design, implementation, dissemination and quality development.
WHAT CAN EFD UNESCO CONTRIBUTE?
EFD UNESCO can contribute a strong grassroots perspective from Morocco, access to local young people and community actors, youth work and non-formal education activities, local pilot implementation, dissemination and intercultural cooperation.
Our participation would also bring the perspective of a Partner Country and allow the consortium to test and adapt project approaches in a different social and geographical context.
PARTNERSHIP APPROACH
We are not looking for organisations that simply want to be listed as partners.
We are looking for committed organisations interested in co-designing the project, developing a strong consortium and building a long-term cooperation beyond a single Erasmus+ application.
We are open to discussing and adapting the project concept according to the expertise and priorities of the organisations joining the consortium.
If your organisation is interested, please contact EFD UNESCO and share your PIF, OID, Erasmus+ experience and a short description of the expertise you could bring to the project.
