UNESCO Space for Training and Development

Espace de Formation et de Développement UNESCO (EFD UNESCO) is a Moroccan non-profit civil society organisation established in 2007 and based in Sidi Slimane, Morocco.
Our mission is to empower young people and strengthen local communities through non-formal education, capacity building, active citizenship, human rights, social inclusion and sustainable development.
EFD UNESCO organises youth activities, training courses, workshops, awareness campaigns and community initiatives. Our activities address areas such as youth participation, leadership, employability and entrepreneurship, digital skills, human rights and citizenship, intercultural dialogue, environmental awareness, volunteering and community development.
We work particularly with young people and local communities, including participants with fewer opportunities, and encourage them to become active actors in their communities.
Our organisation also works with civil society organisations, educational institutions and other stakeholders and is developing its international cooperation through Erasmus+ Youth and Euro-Mediterranean partnerships.
We are interested in building long-term partnerships with reliable organisations for Youth Exchanges, training and networking activities, capacity-building initiatives and other international youth cooperation projects.
EFD UNESCO is open to both sending and hosting activities and to developing new project ideas together with international partners.
