European Movement in Serbia-Kikinda

ABOUT US:
The European Movement in Serbia-Kikinda (EMinS-Ki) is an independent and voluntarily organization of the citizens of Serbia. EMinS-Ki is an independent institution of the democratic public and a citizens' organization that advocates for peaceful, democratic and full European integration and a democratic and modern Serbia as part of Europe.
Since 1993, the European Movement in Serbia is a full member of the International European Movement (www.europeanmovement.org), an international non-governmental organization with a great tradition and significant influence on political actors in European countries.
MISSION:
The EMinS-Ki main mission is focused on influencing the Serbian public to commit itself to build a democratic pluralistic society, achieve equality among people and their communities and promote European values and heritage. EMinS-Ki supports all relevant processes in Serbia that lead to this.
The key approach in all EMinS-Ki activities is based on full respect for human values and freedoms, the establishment of the rule of law and the appreciation of cultural differences, alongside the founding values of the Council of Europe.
In cooperation with all those who share the same system of values, the European Movement is devoted to the establishment of political and other conditions necessary for the accession of Serbia to the European Union (EU). This includes the reestablishment and normalization of compromised relations with European countries, especially with neighboring countries, but also substantial reforms on many levels - administrative, sectoral, national and local.
GOALS:
Full and equal membership of Serbia in all European institutions and organizations;
Support for the diffusion of the concept of European unity in Serbia by promoting cultural, political and economic cooperation among citizens, people, ethnic communities, regions and the states of Europe, with the aim of establishing a United Europe;
The creation of a democratic and federal Europe based on the rule of law and social justice, with the ability to protect and develop human rights;
Influencing public opinion towards sustaining the democratic transition of Serbia.
