Youth Booster!

Dear colleagues, partners and friends,

Looking at the current situation in particular young people from migrant or minority backgrounds have to struggle with a high rate of unemployment and a huge lack of personal and professional prospects. Their social and professional participation and integration are an important aspect of social cohesion within the European society. Many young people from migrant or minority backgrounds are losing more and more their sense of future, finding themselves in a state of frustration, lost self-awareness, social exclusion and also often a lost trust in the respective countries. Youth work and non-formal education have the potential to find solutions to these tremendous challenges.

Having all this in mind, Youth Works Coalition invites you to be partners on our project „Youth Booster! Fighting the lack of prospects - Empowering European Youth through Self-Development“. The project aims to empower young Europeans between 16 and 25 years old, encouraging them to develop creative and alternative perspectives to walk their paths in the future. The Youth Exchange will provide space for youngsters coming from migrant or minority backgrounds to share their experiences, identify their competences and to discover non-formal education as an opportunity for self-development, employment and social cohesion.

The project will be realized with partners from programme countries from EU28, EFTA + pre-accession countries and partners from SEE.

All organisations that are participating in the new Erasmus+ programme (as applicant as well as a partner) must be registered. Means you are asked to register for a so-called “PIC”.
