Echo Equal

Echo Equal is a youth-led organisation based in Italy, dedicated to empowering young people through non-formal education, international cooperation, and active citizenship. The organisation focuses on youth empowerment, social inclusion, gender equality, sustainability, digital youth work, intercultural dialogue, and creating equal opportunities for young people from diverse backgrounds.

The name Echo Equal reflects the organisation’s core values: “Echo” represents the belief that every young person’s voice can create a wider impact and inspire positive change, while “Equal” represents equality, inclusion, fairness, and respect for diversity.

Echo Equal aims to create inclusive learning spaces where young people can develop their skills, exchange perspectives, and actively participate in society. The organisation works to connect young people with international learning opportunities, particularly through Erasmus+ projects, while supporting their personal development, confidence, and participation in community life.

As a sending organisation in Erasmus+ activities, Echo Equal supports young people throughout the mobility process, including participant outreach, selection, preparation, communication, and dissemination. The organisation’s members have experience participating in Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges and Training Courses on topics such as inclusion, gender equality, LGBTQ+ awareness, sustainability, digital literacy, youth participation, and intercultural learning.

At the local level, Echo Equal organises awareness-raising activities, intercultural exchanges, and youth-oriented initiatives with international students and young people. Through digital platforms, the organisation also creates accessible educational content related to youth opportunities, social issues, sustainability, and active citizenship.

Echo Equal is continuously developing its network and capacities to contribute to meaningful European cooperation and to support young people in becoming more active, inclusive, and socially engaged citizens.
