Chernivtsi regional cell of allukranian NGO "PORA!"

“PORA!” is a non-governmental, non-political and financially independent network. Founded in 2004.
The civil society development is the main objective for our NGO and it is realizing in 4 directions:
- Sustainable democracy development. Long term election monitoring (parliament elections 2007 and 2012, president elections 2010, local elections 2010). Realization of training courses for long and short time observers.
- Youth sector development. Law and human rights education. Mobilizing campaign to protect students in preserving their rights (2006). Realization of youth citizenship seminar in Chernivtsi National University (2009). Participating as a partner in YIA Projects (2006-2013).
- Prevent the social exclusion in local communities. Realization of art projects for people with fewer opportunities (photo exhibition One Life. One Choice. One Chance, 2010). Anti-discrimination campaign for LGBT (Different Doesn’t Mean Strange, 2013). Training courses aimed to empower people from LGBT community in Ukraine and abroad.
- Empowerment of young people through the ART FOR SOCIAL CHANGE (Street art activities, training courses about "art as a tool for social change").

The third (LGBT rights advocacy and anti-discrimination) and forth (Art for social change) at the moment are our priorities in the field of youth work.
