Associação Desportiva Recreativa e Cultural Penaverdense

Associação Desportiva Recreativa e Cultural Penaverdense (ADRC Penaverdense) is a non-profit community association based in Penaverde, a rural village in the municipality of Aguiar da Beira, Portugal.
The association promotes youth participation, sport, recreation, culture, volunteering, healthy lifestyles and cooperation between generations. It uses the area’s natural and cultural resources to create educational and community activities connected with outdoor learning, environmental awareness, rural identity and living heritage.
ADRC Penaverdense works with young people, volunteers, families, schools, local authorities and other community organisations. Particular attention is given to young people living in rural and low-density areas, who may have fewer opportunities to access international mobility, specialised activities and contact with other European cultures.
Through Erasmus+, the association aims to strengthen its youth work, develop sustainable European partnerships and create inclusive learning opportunities based on nature, sport, culture and active participation.
