FootPrints – Orienteering, Nature and Living Heritage for Rural Youth

FootPrints is an Erasmus+ KA152-YOU Youth Exchange planned to take place in Penaverde, a rural village in the municipality of Aguiar da Beira, Portugal.
The project will bring together young people from seven European countries. Portugal and North Macedonia are already represented, and we are currently looking for five additional partner organisations.
Through non-formal learning, FootPrints will combine orienteering, outdoor activities, environmental education, rural heritage, traditional dances, music and intercultural dialogue. Orienteering will be used as an inclusive educational tool for cooperation, confidence, decision-making, active participation and contact with nature, rather than as a sporting competition.
Young people will participate actively in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the exchange. Each national group will be invited to contribute an activity and present a traditional practice, dance, song or element of its cultural heritage.
We are looking for reliable non-profit organisations, youth associations, NGOs or informal groups that work regularly with young people. Priority will be given to organisations interested in rural youth, inclusion, outdoor education, environmental sustainability, sport, active citizenship or cultural heritage.
Partners must be able to select and prepare a motivated national group, participate in online preparation meetings, communicate reliably and contribute to dissemination and follow-up activities.
Interested organisations should send an updated PIF containing their full legal name, OID, country, contact person, youth-work experience and Erasmus+ experience, if applicable.
