Associação Cidadania Viva
Associação Cidadania Viva (ACV) is a non profit youth organisation,
founded in April 1999, working on non-formal education, intercultural
and social inclusion issues at a regional level (Lisbon). We are registered
as a youth association at the IPJ (Portuguese Youth Institute) since 2000.
We work with young people from different geographical, cultural and
social background with ages from 15 up to 30 years old. Our mission
is to empower young people through their ingenious and art, turning
them into active citizens in their community in support of a sustainable
development.
Past projects
Human Rights vs Human Fights
This project will approach several topics related to international relations: realism, idealism, humanitarian intervention, globalization, democracy, etc.
Active Citizenship: Empowering Euro-American Young Entrepreneurs
Will work on empowerment of youngsters, promoting youth employment, sustainable employability and inclusive economy through non formal education.
Active Democracy: Citizens and Society United
The project will discuss the future of the European Union and its basic values, foster active european citizenship through civic and democratic participation.
