FINANCIAL CONDITIONS: There will be a participation fee per participant that will be deducted from the reimbursement.

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT: In case of humanitarian and natural crisis and/or war scenarios what is the role of international organisations? How does the democratic process works in case of an intervention? Is it viable and efficient?
This project will approach several important topics related to international relations, such as: realism, idealism, non intervention principle, non humanitarian intervention, globalization, democracy, among others. A youth democracy week will take place in Amadora and Lisbon during 7 days with several european countries and participants. Non formal education will be use to explain to youngsters the several concepts that involve a democratic and global society nowadays. We'll have debates, discussions, a conference, a NATO simulation; all activities included in the European Local Democracy Week.
