Aktif Gençlik Eğitim ve Kültür Araştırmaları Derneği

Aktif Gençlik Eğitim ve Kültür Araştırmaları Association (AGEKADER) is a youth NGO based in Istanbul, Türkiye, dedicated to supporting the social, cultural, and educational development of young people. Our main mission is to contribute to young people’s personal growth, increase their sense of social responsibility, foster democratic participation, and promote intercultural learning.

Within this framework, AGEKADER develops and coordinates international youth projects mainly under the Erasmus+ Programme. We design and implement activities around themes such as theatre, short film, cultural heritage, digital literacy, combating hate speech, environmental awareness, and social inclusion. Through these initiatives, we enable young people to actively participate at both local and international levels.

In addition to international projects, AGEKADER closely collaborates with local municipalities, universities, and cultural institutions to organize workshops, seminars, and cultural events that empower youth participation.

Promoting volunteering and active citizenship,

Encouraging intercultural dialogue and solidarity among young people.

Our activities range from youth exchanges and training courses to awareness-raising campaigns and cultural events. Visibility and dissemination are ensured through digital platforms, local communities, and international networks.

Through its wide partnership network across Europe, AGEKADER continues to be a reliable platform for young people to discover their talents, express themselves, and take an active role in the European youth field.
