Our Values

We understand the struggles of the youth we serve—because we’ve lived them. Our past drives our passion to uplift others with compassion and respect.
We believe in walking beside youth, not in front of them. Our support is not a favor—it’s a shared journey toward growth, dignity, and opportunity.

We embrace all cultures, voices, and identities. Through intercultural exchange and open conversation, we build bridges—not walls.
We don’t just provide help—we provide the tools. From entrepreneurship education, we aim to create confident, independent changemakers.
Every act of service and learning is a step toward peace, justice, and a fairer world. We teach youth that they are the solution.

Every young person—regardless of background—deserves to dream, to believe, and to thrive. We are here to protect that right.

Together, these values shape the soul of Africana Impact. They are not just words—they are commitments we live by in every project, every partnership, and every young life we touch.
With these principles guiding us, we focus our efforts on those who need them most.

Our Vision

In an era of increasing interdependence, global citizenship is vital in building sustainable futures for Africa and the world.

We want all communities in Africa to have opportunities for meaningful contact with people and ideas from other countries and cultures, through which they can become more active global citizens.
We are a dynamic organisation, supporting young people to join meaningful volunteering activities in and across countries worldwide.

These projects bring young people together and use volunteering as a vehicle for positive exchange between communities and people from other countries.

We coordinate a programme of social projects, where international volunteers support local communities, make a positive change in their communities, and promote global citizenship and learning.

We support the participation of young people from North Africa and the rest of Africa in international volunteering through long-established and trusted partnerships.

Background Experience of Africana Impact Organization:

Africana Impact Organization’s team works tirelessly to ensure a successful experience for international volunteers when undertaking social change in Morocco. Our organization organizes work camps regarding the environment, language, and cultural exchange every year, especially in summer. These work camps are managed by the local team of the organization in collaboration with our national and international affiliated entities. Our organization also receives volunteers to participate in our projects either through the Idealist platform or through our partners in Scandinavian countries as hosting structures in Morocco. Our team also works with the Korean community in the (IT) Information Technology Volunteer program in partnership with KOICA Korean International Cooperation Agency. This program is run by both Moroccan volunteers and a Korean team to provide the youth with free equipment and organize digital workshops regarding (IT) in educational institutions, especially in hard-reach communities where children with fewer opportunities lack access to Digital Education this initiative aims to enable the youth with fewer opportunities to access high-quality education and bridge the gap to raise a generation with a wide range of skills in the field of digital literacy for a globally connected world.

We have also had a fruitful collaboration with JICA Japan International Cooperation Agency* as a hosting organization to welcome international applicants to serve disadvantaged children at orphanages and combat social exclusion.

In 2014, our organization was named Moroccan Camp For Solidarity CSM Fida Casablanca And forged a strategic partnership with a French organization, allowing us to host volunteers from Europe under the EVS European Voluntary Service program. This collaboration was a pivotal moment for CSM Fida Casablanca, enabling us to expand our horizons and diversify our volunteer base, while simultaneously deepening our commitment to fostering solidarity across borders." Under this program, the French team was volunteering in a youth Center and they were teaching French to underprivileged young people and providing them with social and psychological support. They were also training the youth in social and physical sports.

During the summer CSM Fida Casablanca also worked with AESIC organization to provide English summer courses for adults and children who reside in poor neighborhoods in Casablanca in collaboration with public schools throughout the season. In 2014, our organization underwent a metamorphosis and emerged with a new name and purpose, becoming the Africana Impact organization, determined to make a difference in our community.

On Sept 23, 2024, in the wake of the devastating earthquake in Morocco that rocked the Al Hawz region in Marrakech, Africana Impact volunteers mobilized quickly, providing essential support to those impacted by the disaster. Braving the destruction and chaos, they delivered much-needed food, clothing, and medical assistance to victims in the region. Their unwavering commitment to helping those in need extended beyond basic aid, as they also worked tirelessly to clear away rubble and debris, aiding in the recovery efforts and offering hope to those affected by the tragedy.

In 2016, we embarked on a transformative journey alongside USAID, organizing a training program that provided the youth in rural areas with critical soft skills, unlocking their full potential for personal growth and development. Our partnership also enabled Moroccan families to host volunteers from Europe, creating a cultural exchange that exposed these visitors to the rich traditions, customs, and dialects of Morocco while simultaneously granting Moroccan citizens the opportunity to experience diverse perspectives and worldviews, cultivating a spirit of global understanding and unity.

In recent years, Africana Impact joined NDH National Human Development Initiative to launch a youth development program in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry of Interior. This program
aims to address the inequality and lack of opportunities faced by youth living in disadvantaged areas by providing them with affordable English and French language classes. By equipping these youth with the necessary language skills, the program seeks to promote inclusive development and provide equal employment opportunities, thereby contributing to a more equitable and just society.

Our active participation in these ESC projects further exemplifies our commitment to addressing critical social issues and implementing positive change in our communities. Through our involvement in these projects, we aim to contribute to the well-being of vulnerable groups, promote sustainable practices, and foster youth empowerment.

These four ESC projects consist of two long-term projects and two short-term projects. The long-term projects include the Elderly Care Project and the Childcare Project, which aim to provide essential care and support services to elderly and young individuals. The short-term projects, the Environmental Sustainability Project and the Youth4hope Project, focus on promoting sustainable practices and encouraging youth engagement in community development initiatives, respectively.
