"FACTORY OF MULTIPLIERS" Training Course

"FACTORY OF MULTIPLIERS"  Training Course was split into two stages:

• First seminar stage took place between 1-8 December 2004 in Poland 
• Second seminar took place on 1-6 February, 2005 also in Poland

Aims

• To prepare YOUTH Programme Multipliers, people who are ready to promote and to inform about the YOUTH Programme in Eastern Europe and Caucasus countries.
• To built well-functioning Network of Multipliers cooperating closely with the SALTO EECA Resource Centre in further development of the YOUTH Programme in the Region.

Objectives

• To learn about the YOUTH Programme, its' specific Actions with special focus to the cooperation with Partner Countries.
• To raise awareness of the YOUTH Programme philosophy and PRIORITIES.
• To get to know with possibilities of youth cooperation between Programme and EECA countries  within the YOUTH Programme.
• To develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to organise the information support, promotion activities of the YOUTH Programme in EECA countries and counselling for potential YOUTH Programme users from the Region.

Participants

The "Factory of Multipliers" Training Course brought together 21 active members of non-governmental organisations ONLY from Eastern Europe and Caucasus.

Applicants fulfilled following criteria:

• Had experience of International Youth Work
• Were ready to be involved in the Network of the YOUTH Programme Multipliers in the EECA countries
• Were ready to act as the Multiplier of the YOUTH Programme and be prepared to pass on and spread out the information, skills and contacts stemming from the event through their future activities
• Were prepared to participate in follow-up or evaluation activities organised by SALTO-YOUTH Network
• Had knowledge about YOUTH Programme and some experience from previous YOUTH projects

6-days training course:

• YOUTH Programme presentation with special focus on cooperation with EECA countries
• Presentation of the youth work reality in the Eastern Europe and Caucasus countries
• The roles and responsibilities of multipliers
• Development of Multiplying Projects
• Multipliers' skills development
• Life testimony from realised YOUTH projects

The programme elements of the second seminar of Training Course "Factory of Multipliers" was focused on evaluation of the previous stage of TC as well as practical multiplying activity.
