RURA Project: developing youth quality work in rural areas. The booklet.
The booklet wants to provide examples and opportunities for both youth workers and rural entrepreneurs to develop meaningful projects for rural development through youth engagement and improvement of their quality of life.
Aims of the tool
Promote the cooperation with rural local entrepreneurs and youth workers to double the efficacy of actions intended to promote the overall wellness of rural youth.
Description of the tool
This booklet explores the outcomes of an Erasmus+ KA153 project "RURA - Developing youth quality work in rural contexts" in which 6 partner organizations from Italy, Portugal, Greece, France, Slovenia and Spain gathered with the objective of promoting youth quality work and youth wellness in disadvantaged areas.
This booklet aims to promote the engagement of local entrepreneurs as key stakeholders in this transformative process.
Local entrepreneurs in rural areas have unique insights into the socio-economic landscape of the community and can play a crucial role in promoting youth development. By engaging these entrepreneurs as active participants in youth work, the project envisions a dynamic synergy where entrepreneurship contributes to and benefits from an engaged youth community.
In this booklet is highlighted the potential of local entrepreneurs to not only support youth work, but to become an integral part of it. Entrepreneurs can inspire and mentor the next generation, creating a sustainable cycle of community empowerment, by sharing their experiences and engaging directly with young people.
