Aims of the tool

- Knowing the action plan of lakes and wetlands by more people,
- More people see the action plan for wetlands prepared by our country,
-To understand the importance of environmental and nature related policies by implementing this handbook,
- By implementing our handbook, drawing the attention of decision makers to this issue, especially in the name of preventing climate change and to make them take action on the matter,
-Eğirdir and Eğirdir Lake being recognized by more people,
-Eğirdir Lake recognized by more people within the scope of tourism activities,
- Taking precautions for the protection of Egirdir Lake and nearby lakes. Understanding the 2030 environmental policy implemented by the Union and providing support with our project.

Description of the tool

We prepared a detailed magazine on lake conservation, specifically focusing on Lake Eğirdir, as part of our project. Through this magazine, we ensured that both the subject and objectives of our project were better understood by a wider audience, and we were also able to promote our project activities more broadly. The magazine, titled “Wonders of Lakes”, served as a comprehensive summary of our project.

In line with the theme of our project, participants created action plans. Having developed a deeper understanding of the concept of lakes, environmental issues, the characteristics of Lake Eğirdir, and the necessity of its protection, participants prepared multiple action plans in detail. These action plans were included in our project magazine.
