This toolkit is designed to help youth workers explore key aspects of digital citizenship with young people.
It features activities on topics such as media literacy, online ethics, cyberbullying, digital rights, and online well-being.

Aims of the tool

The aim of the toolkit is to support youth workers in helping young people develop critical digital skills, navigate online environments responsibly, and become active, informed digital citizens.

The toolkit includes a rich collection of interactive, ready-to-use educational activities that address key topics such as:
- Media and digital literacy
- Cyberbullying and online hate speech
- Digital rights and human dignity online
- Misinformation, propaganda, and ethical online behavior
- Digital identity and presence
- Civic participation in the digital world

Designed with flexibility in mind, the activities range from role-plays, debates, and simulations to creative workshops like digital storytelling and forum theatre. All sessions are grounded in non-formal education principles and come with clear instructions, objectives, and debriefing suggestions.

Description of the tool

This toolkit was developed as part of the Erasmus+ training course “DigiACT - Contemporary Digital Citizenship”, which was approved by the Lithuanian National Agency, funded by the Erasmus+ program, and coordinated and implemented by Loud&Clear. The training course, held in Lithuania in November 2024, brought together youth workers, youth leaders, and educators from six countries: Lithuania, Poland, Romania, the Netherlands, Italy, and Bulgaria.
