Aims & objectives

A training course for beginner youth workers, youth leaders, volunteers and representatives of NGOs (working directly with young people) on core competencies and basics of youth work, including digital tools.
The aim of the project – through improving the competencies of youth workers contribute to the development of quality youth work idea in Europe.

The participants - beginner youth workers, youth leaders, volunteers and representatives of NGOs (working directly with young people) - came from Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia, Germany, Romania, Italy, Croatia, North Macedonia,

Training methods used & main activities

The activities of the training course were based on non-formal education methodological principles - experiential learning, outdoor education activities, group discussions, input from the trainers, interactive presentations, simulation, practice, reflection, working in groups, sharing experiences and good practices and learning from each other.

Outcomes of the activity

Improved understanding of youth work, it's main principles, work with groups and individually, methodologies that can be applied, digital tools that can be useful, principles of non-formal education in work with young people.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Co-preparing the application, co-designing the workshops, co-implementing the programme with the group, co-writing the report.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
