The event aimed to contribute towards cross-sectoral collaboration and dissemination of know-how for the support of social inclusion of young people through employability and entrepreneurship related activities
The group was composed of 43 participants coming from Eastern Partnership countries Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries Austria, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Southern Mediterranean countries Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Western Balkan countries
The event was built on the principles of peer-learning and non formal education. A significant part of the event were co-created together with the participants (they delivered workshops and held case story sessions.
The main outcomes of the event were the following:
1. Exchange of practical tools and methods - participants were expected to share and gather hands-on tools that enhance young people’s employability and entrepreneurial skills. The event encouraged showcasing and learning from real, tested methods that can be replicated in different contexts.
2. Cross-Sector Collaboration
The fair aimed to build bridges between youth work, education, and employment sectors, fostering new partnerships and deeper understanding. By bringing professionals from different fields together, the event hoped to generate more holistic and impactful approaches to youth empowerment.
3. Inspiration and Innovation
Through keynote speakers, field visits, workshops, and case stories the fair sought to inspire new ideas and help participants innovate within their own work—with a focus on real-world application and lasting impact.
4. Support for social inclusion
The event placed strong emphasis on inclusion and equal opportunities, especially for young people with fewer opportunities. The tools and practices exchanged were intended to better equip practitioners to reach and support marginalized youth.
I was working as a fulltime trainer for the entire duration of the event, including facilitation of particular sessions, preparation and support of the keynote speakers
