TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The main aim of the project was to enable youth workers for direct work with young people on monitoring the implementation of youth policies
Specific objectives of the project were:
- introducing Watchdog function as a tool for engaging young people in the monitoring of implementation youth policies
- creating space for sharing good practices
- strengthening youth workers to act as a trusted adult
- initiating cooperation between young people and local/regional stakeholders
There were 27 participants from 9 countries (Croatia, Turkey, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Italy). The team was composed of 2 full time trainers and 1 facilitator.
Non formal methods: simulation, role play, group work, brainstorming, reflection, debriefing, self assessment.
- 27 youth workers trained in the field of Watchdog function as a tool for monitoring youth policies and a total of 9 organizations strengthened their capacities for implementing Watchdog function in youth work.
- 9 watchdog action plans developed and implemented
