Aims & objectives

Stimulate intercultural learning, dialogue & diversity
• Learn more about human rights & their potential
contribution to combat expressions and attitudes
of extremism
• Know the history of migration in the EuroMediterranean
and the current situation, reasons
of migration Explore the concepts of freedom of
movement, xenophobia, social exclusion, racism
& hate: its manifestations online and offline
• Understand the impact of xenophobia
& discrimination Raise awareness on the issues
& vulnerability faced by young migrants, asylum
seekers and refugees (YASIR) and develop it through
projects implementation as well as networks in
Mediterranean region;
are seeking political, safety and asylum refuge in Europe,
while the EU is tightening its borders in the Mediterranean,
strengthening agencies such as Frontex. Fatalities increase
as more people cross the borders e.g. 300 out of Malta,
and another 300 in November last year in Lampedusa
while extreme right and anti-immigration laws were on
the rise in most European Countries. With this project we
aim at tackling one of the core issues in the whole EuroMediterranean
region to know how to avoid further deaths
& other catastrophic tragedies, following the horrific
headlines of Lampedusa, Melilla and Malta
• Decrease social exclusion of vulnerable minorities,
decrease their risk of poverty
• Couand relations with immigrants & organisations
through exchange of best practices to counter
discrimination, exclusion & violence to YASIR
• Facilitate exchange of knowledge, analysis of EU
policies & to propose amendments develop strategies
and policy lines for the future as a basis for successful
campaigning on local, national and European level
• Foster partnerships Empower Youth workers and
leaders & youth with fewer opportunities especially
YASIRs with competences, human rights advocacy,
empowerment tools e.g. campaigning, policy
analysis,arts, communication

Malta , France , Macedonia , Albania Finland , turkey ,Germany Georgia Lebanon, Jordan Palestine , Tunisia

Training methods used & main activities

- non formal education most of time by energizer ice breaking games,
- communication skills by some games published at salto tool
-flashmob
-groups work

Outcomes of the activity

-Participants were invited to create their own press release n an exercise
- A street action to raise awareness in the form of a flashmob was done
-Participant had a chance to take part into communication exercises

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

we were three trainers and we allocated the mission between us , i shared my experience in energizer, leaded some sessions , and during evaluation as well ,

I worked on this training for 7 days days as a full time trainer.
