Aims & objectives

The aim of this non-formal training activity was to strengthen leadership competences of youth workers and community leaders and support them in developing community-based projects.

The training addressed the need for stronger youth participation in community initiatives and encouraged participants to develop practical project ideas responding to local social challenges.

The objectives were:
-to strengthen leadership and facilitation skills of youth workers;
-to introduce practical tools for community project development;
-to encourage cooperation between NGOs and community organisations;
-to support participants in developing project ideas related to youth participation and community engagement.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The aim of this non-formal training activity was to strengthen leadership competences of youth workers and community leaders and support them in developing community-based projects.

These non-formal learning methods encouraged active participation, collaboration and exchange of experiences between participants.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants developed several project ideas related to youth participation, community initiatives and social innovation.

The training strengthened participants’ competences in leadership, cooperation and project development.

Participants reported increased motivation to initiate youth projects and collaborate with organisations from other regions.

The results of the activity were shared through community meetings and organisational communication channels.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I worked as a trainer and facilitator responsible for designing and delivering training sessions related to youth leadership, community engagement and project development.

My responsibilities included facilitating workshops, mentoring participants during project development sessions and moderating reflection and evaluation activities.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
