TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Jeanne Fauchet
This project focuses on empowering young people to design and implement social impact projects in their communities. Participants developed actionable project plans, enhanced their skills in project management, leadership, and teamwork, and built prototypes for social impact initiatives. The training led to the creation of a collaborative network of youth innovators, with several projects receiving seed funding and partnerships for further development.
Participants included youth aged 16-25 from diverse backgrounds, representing countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The group consisted of high school and university students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals passionate about social impact, sustainability, and community development.
Non-formal learning methods
The training employed a blend of interactive workshops, design thinking sessions, group projects, and peer-led discussions. Key activities included innovation labs where participants developed and pitched community-based projects, mentorship sessions with industry leaders, and hackathons to brainstorm solutions to global challenges.
