Aims & objectives

The project through the cooperation of the international partners aims to:
- improve Information and Communication Technology (ICT) competences of youth workers needed for successful initiation, implementation and promotion of activities/projects outreaching and involving young people;
- focuses on combating discrimination and hate speech, promoting mutual respect and human
rights;
- develops educational competences and practical skills (creating informational, communication and media tools) of youth workers.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Number of participants: 36
from: Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Spain United Kingdom, Turkey;
Invited trainer (Oleksandra Bakun) from Ukraine;
Team of 6 organisers from Turkey.

Training methods used & main activities

The TC was based on NFE metthods.
Teambuilding, creative presentations, video examlpes, plenary discussion, small groups discussion, and many others were used.

For example, for the Human Rights session we have given small groups of participants handouts of the short version of the 30 articles of Declaration of Human Rights, and the participants after thorough studying needed to present in a silent theatre performance the cases in which the human rights were violated.

Outcomes of the activity

- During the "walking scale" final evaluation, all participants involved in the activity gave a 10 out of 10 to the question "The overall quality of the project";
- While answering the online fonal evaluation form, to the question "Was the TC held in an environment where you felt comfortable?" 82.1% answered YES;
- To the question "Was the programme adequate and relevant for your personal needs?" 35,7% answered Yes; 46,4% answered "most of the time".

During the TC, there was an Instagram account and hashtag #youthgodigital created for dissemination.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a full-time trainer for 7 days, the only trainer, responsible for the creation of the program, preparation for and delivery of the sessions, also took care of some participants' health (gave medicine if it was needed).

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
