TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Marina Luka
The main objective of the training course was to contribute, through educational program design, to the skills development of the participating youth workers and equip them with knowledge and hands-on tools in project management to be able to organize learner-centered activities and become more reflective towards their educational practices.
I worked in the trainer's team with Tomás Mora Selva, with the logistics support of Alex Frías (Youth BCN). The TC brought together 31 youth workers from 16 countries (program and partner countries).
NFE activities to support group dynamics and team-building.
Simulation-based activity to support communication within the group.
Idea-pitching during an NGO market to foster networking.
Project-based learning to embed educational content in real-life activity creation.
Participants of the TC continued collaborating, 2 project teams have successfully applied for European grants since the training, and at least 4 new organizations have been created by the participants.
I took part in the educational content development and the training/mentoring activities during the project.
